| The mind is defined as the heart, it determines the future and destiny of a man. It is found in the soul which is made up of your mind, will and emotions. The mind is the centre of the soul, and the battle of life is in the soul. So why is the mind so important? Ok this can get a bit difficult to understand so stay with me. In your mind is where your subconscious and conscious mind is. Your conscious mind feeds the subconscious mind information. You can easily forget what is in your conscious mind. For example, you listen to a song that promotes killing, by tomorrow you might have forgotten about it. However, if you repeatedly listen to the song that information is then deposited into your subconscious mind. In Proverbs 23:7 the bible says, For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you. This means that you are whatever is in your subconscious mind which is in your heart. You become what you continuously hear or see. If you continuously watch pornography it will get into your subconscious mind that even when you are not actively watching it, it’s still playing at the back of your mind. .JPG/:/cr=t:19.61%25,l:7.23%25,w:85.3%25,h:45.45%25/rs=w:686) Let’s say the subconscious mind is your hard drive. How can you then clean this hard drive of all the things you don’t need anymore? You can download a new software which is the Holy Spirit. I believe that most people reading this have already done that. Now you have to continuously read and study the word of God, meditate on it. When an unwanted thought pops up recite the promises of God to yourself and cast down every thought that does not line up with the word of God. This is how you renew your mind daily.
